This project celebrates the cultural presence of backgammon in Lebanon—often seen played by the older generation on sidewalks, balconies, and in cafés. The front of each 6 x 6 in. print features the phrase “serious play” in Arabic, adding a playful twist to this beloved pastime. On the back, a typographic interpretation of a lyric from Fairuz’s iconic song “حبيتك بالصيف” (“I loved you in the summer”) nods to the nostalgic soundscape often surrounding the game.

These prints are designed as versatile keepsakes—whether as souvenirs, small posters, or collectible cards. They serve as visual tributes to everyday rituals and familiar sounds, blending humor, music, and tradition into compact, expressive designs that feel both personal and shareable.
